I have imported some new very rare chilli-pepper varieties. Some of them are already available. I will be growing the others and seeds should be available in late summer or autumn. To be notified send an email to: chillies@FreeAutobot.com

The seeds are packaged when I receive orders, this way I have no old stock.

My climate is hot in Summer up to 40°+Celsius and cold in Winter. We get frost, the coldest temperature we had was -4°Celsius in our hot house.

Quantity per Packet:
There are 10 - 25+ chilli seeds per packet depending on varieties. I have very limited seeds with some of the rarer varieties. Once I grow the chillies I have imported and have a good crop I can give more seeds (25+). I don't wholesale, I am a reseller.

ER This indicates that the chilli seeds are of my own plants. They are also organically grown.

ANAHEIM chilli-pepper, heat: 2, mild
This variety is 300 years old and is also known as chile Colorado. The fruit is 15 cm long. Excellent stuffed, in soups, stews and sauces. Use as well for pickling and drying.

ANCHO chilli-pepper, heat: 4, mild
Anchos are commonly used in sauces called moles. Mild chilli-pepper, but still hot enough for me.

This heirloom was collected in Curico, Chile. The long, thin chilli-pepper has delicious flavour and is only mildly hot, one of the pest pickling peppers. Pick the creamy-yellow fruit immature for best flavour.

New Import barker hot chilli-pepper, very hot
A variety selected from a native New Mexico Chile years ago. Ripens red and though not as uniform as most improved variety it has a pungent heat that makes it still the most popular heirloom chilli-pepper of New Mexico and the hottest, very nice! Pods are 5 to 7 inches in length to 1 to 2 inches in width. It is a hot variety with a heat level ranging from 15-30,000 scovilles. Ripens red from green.

ER Bellingrath Gardens purple chilli-pepper heat: hot
A strikingly beautiful, ornamental hot pepper plant. Leaves and stems are purple-green with a satin sheen. Young foliage and growing tips are variegated with colours of green, purple, and creamy-white. Leaves are small (21/2 to 5cm long), and the undersides are green with purple venation. Plants are sturdy, hardy, and well branched, and may reach a height of 5 feet when well grown. Flowers are purple with greenish-purple stamens. The pendant fruits ripen from greenish-purple to purple-orange to red, and provide a colourful accent to the purple foliage. Fruits are small (3/8" x 7/8"), abundant, hot, and because they separate readily from the plant they are easy to harvest. Compared to 'Royal Black', 'Bellingrath Gardens Purple' is more variegated. Recommended enthusiastically for ornamental gardens, colourful hot pepper vinegars, and spicy cuisine.

ER BROOME chilli-pepper, heat: 7-8, hot (C.chinense)
The almost square fruit is 6-7cm x 3-4cm.Part of the green fruit turns red and all red when ripe. You will have green, bicolour (green&red) and red chilli-peppers all on the same bush. Very pretty. This chilli-pepper is favoured by the locals of coastal northern Western Australia. The 1.6m bushes bear fruit all year round.

ER HABANERO Chocolate chilli-pepper, heat: 10, fiery hot (C. frutescens) Available again
This chilli-pepper is "VERY" hot even for a Habanero. Well grown it produces high yields in 110 days. The chilli fruit is 3.5 to 5cm long. Harvest the chillies when they turn a chocolate brown. The pungent Chocolate Habanero is from The West Indies and is also known as Congo Black. The fruit is dark green turning brown at maturity. It has a rich peppery flavour.
The Chocolate Habanero is one of hottest of the large-fruited Habanero types. It is the favourite chilli-pepper in the Caribbean. It is used to make barbecue sauces and marinades with a unique rich flavour. The chillies can be dried and smoked like the Chipotle, to produce an exquisite flavoured sauce.

One of my most popular chilli pepper. I have grown this variety for the second season. I have impatiently waited for a while to see it flowering and set fruit. It was worth it. The bush is medium tall. The fruit is unusually shaped and turns from green to a beautiful rich lemon colour. But there is more.. it has a citrus flavour! The fruit is very solid in texture and heavy. It will give you a plentiful crop.

New  Import LOMBAK chilli-pepper, seeds, heat: hot (C. annuum) RARE
Heirloom from a food market in Lombak, Indonesia. An excellent hot drying chilli-pepper with a great taste and rich colour. Fruits measure 1" at the shoulder and taper to 5 to 6" long. The lower third of the fruit is without heat and may be eaten like a sweet pepper. One of the best dried peppers. Fruit ranges from green > orange > red when ripe.

Mature fruit is red, up to 75 mm long and bell shaped. Very unusual, it has blue flowers and black seeds. Hardy perennial and the best chilli-pepper for cooler climates. Used for salsas, sauces and stuffed.

Very hot and flavourful Mexican chilly. "Mirasol" means "Looking at the Sun" which describes its erect growth habit. Fruits ripen from green to translucent red an have a fruity flavour. Wonderful to flavour and colour soup, stew and chicken. Gives a yellow colour. Use green in salsa and guacamole.

New Import new Mexico 6 chilli-pepper, medium hot
Considered in New Mexico and the Southwest for that matter as the finest chili rellano variety available. 6" long pods are 1 1/2" in diameter with thick walls and a medium heat with good taste. Selected from native New Mexico Chillies in the late 1940's and standardized by the 1950's as the premium chilli-pepper variety in New Mexico.

This is an other brand new variety and an other winner. It belongs to the Habanero family. The fruit is green to start with and changes to orange and is red on maturity. This is the longest chilli-pepper of the elongate varieties, Anaheim/New Mex Type. The fruit grows to 30cm long, on 1.5 metre plants. the plants need support and should be staked. Uses: Large Stuffing, Prolific, Roasting, Fried/Stir-Fried, Canning/Processing. Excellent fried with eggs for breakfast. This makes a vitamin packed breakfast.

New Import Royal Black  chilli-pepper, heat: 8.5, mild
'Royal Black' makes a beautiful backdrop for a bed of flowers. For culinary use, the red fruits make a convincing and long lasting impression on the palate - definitely on the dark side of the "Force"! You can use the fruits (both purple and red) in colourful hot vinegars. The foliage and stems are dark-purple, almost black with an occasional variegated growing tip of green, purple, and creamy white. The undersides of the leaves are green with purple venation. The red fruits add a further accent, appearing like crown jewels on a botanical tapestry of deep purple. Bullet-shaped fruits measuring 1/2" wide by 1-1/4" high, are borne upright on 3 foot well-branched plants, Foliage has an oriental quality.
