For years I have been using a program similar to RoboForm and yes it was free.
When you are on the Internet you have to fill in so many different Web forms, it can be a real chore to retype all that common contact information over and over again.
The Upside was that it filled in all my passwords, usernames and address.
The Downside was that I had to put up with all the advertisements that popped up with each website I visited. All the Adware and Spyware, it was frustrating, but I had to put up with it.
Recently I came across RoboForm and downloaded the program for free. No Adware. No Spyware
RoboForm attaches to Internet Explorer (version 4.0 or later); it makes filling out fields for credit cards, banking, and online shopping a snap. It will also save (and assist in managing) your passwords. manage those passwords. The toolbar sits beneath the Address bar.
